What's new with the 2019 Chevy Tahoe?

The 2019 Chevy Tahoe continues the Chevy tradition of reliable versatility with its 2019 iteration. Something that might surprise drivers though, is that the 2019 Chevy Tahoe remains for the most part, unchanged from the 2018 model. Which, is a good thing because the 2018 Tahoe is quite impressive. With that said, the 2019 is a new model and we'll rundown some of the standard and available features below!

Engine Options

The 2019 Tahoe touts two engine options and they're both quite powerful. Granted, the Tahoe can seat up to nine passengers (depending on the trim/model selected), so it needs a lot of power to haul around up to nine passengers. The standard engine that comes with the base offering of the Tahoe is a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 foot-pounds of torque (estimated fuel economy:15/22 city/highway miles per gallon). The second engine offered is a 6.2-liter V8 engine that provides 420 horsepower and 460 foot-pounds of torque (estimated fuel economy: 14/23 city/highway miles per gallon).

Available Features

The Tahoe is a versatile vehicle, capable of vacillating between a mobile entertainment vehicle to a raw hauling SUV. Plus, if you're looking to boost your confidence while on the road, drivers can look to the Tahoe model's set of available driver assistance features, which includes: lane-keep assist technology, lane-departure warning, forward-collision alert with automatic emergency braking, and many other features. Beyond this, drivers can opt for tech that includes a nine-speaker Bose audio system, a rear-seat entertainment system (with Blue-ray player and wireless headphones), and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity.
