STANDARD EQUIPMENT & SAFETY FEATURES ON GMC AND CHEVROLET TRUCKS

While not all GMC and Chevy trucks have the exact same safety features, they do share many similar features, such as: airbags, electronic traction control, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and daytime running lamps. Tech features that come with most trucks include an audio system with AM/FM radio functionality, some form of theft-deterrent system, and USB/ Auxiliary ports.

GMC Trucks

The base GMC Canyon truck comes to Arlington drivers in seven trim versions, with the base Canyon SL touting a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, and up to 6,200 pounds of gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). At the opposite end of the Canyon spectrum, the Denali trim offers drivers a 3.6-liter V6 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, and a Bose premium audio system. If the Canyon isn't what Sterling drivers are after, the Sierra 1500 is another viable GMC truck option. Available in four trim versions, the base Sierra model comes with a 4.3-liter V6 engine, a six-speed transmission, and a rear vision camera. Skip to the top of the line Denali trim and the Sierra 1500 moves to a 5.3-liter engine, magnetic ride control, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and heated/ ventilated front seats. The Sierra 2500 Denali HD is the next step up and it offers up to 15,400 pounds of towing capability. The Sierra 3500 Denali HD comparatively manages 23,100 pounds of towing capability.

Chevy Trucks

The Colorado is a highly versatile vehicle that's capable of switching between rugged work and city cruising. Featuring up to 7,700 pounds of towing capability, available 4G Wi-Fi, and a host of tech features, the Colorado is a truly modern truck. Next up in the Chevy lineup is the legendary Chevy Silverado. With an available 6.2-liter V8 engine, available all-wheel drive, a max payload of 2,250 pounds and up to 12,500 pounds of towing capability the Silverado is a no-nonsense vehicle. The top of the truck lineup is the Silverado HD, which comes in two versions: the 2500 HD and the 3500 HD. Those Leesburg drivers looking for a heavy-duty work vehicle can look to the Silverado HD truck models. The Silverado HD sports gas and diesel engines. The Duramax 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V8 engine provides Sterling drivers with 445 horsepower and 910 foot-pounds of torque. When the Silverado is paired with the 6.6-liter diesel engine it is able to provide up to 18,100 pounds of towing capability. If Tysons Corner drivers are looking for the most capable towing option, the 3500 HD is capable of providing 23,300 pounds of towing force.
